Since plants started growing on planet Earth people have been using them to treat different ailments. One plant in particular had many medicinal properties, it could cure about everything from a headache to the most life threatening disease. Along with being a wonder cure this same plant could be used to make paper, rope, clothes, and homes. These early people loved this miracle plant. We would later call this plant #hemp. Well, another by product of this plant was what is now referred to as #marijuana which gave the people who consumed it a mind altering and euphoric experience. Thousands of years later this plant would become forbidden and used as an excuse to assault, detain, and murder Black people. Now, after many years of destroying Black people's lives over this plant the same people who terrorized them now want to sell Black people marijuana without penalty (to them, of course). Well before you take hit off that blunt or eat an edible, ask yourself, what's in the weed?
