The War On Generation #TurnUp Featuring Tou SaiKo Lee 12-26-13

TURN UP!! If you haven't heard this phrase you haven't been at the right parties, shows, or concerts. This phrase can summarize a whole generation of people who refuse to settle for the mundane and always take things to the next level. While people born in the Nineteen Nineties have exemplified greatness in many ways such as having the highest high school graduation rate in forty years, the lowest teen pregnancy rate in years, and more teenage geniuses then ever. These accomplishments are overshadowed however by the constant negative media portrayal of this generation. Whether it be the media contrived "Knockout" game or the vilification of victims of violence  such as Trayvon Martin it doesn't seem like the mainstream media will let up on warring against this generation. Why is this so? The REAL answers may shock you...

Rap and Spoken Word artist, Tou SaiKo Lee, talks about Minnesota art scene, Hmong Hip Hop heritage, and how he seamlessly bridges the gap between generations with music.
