It seems like any country or issue America is at odds with they have no problem with declaring a "war" on it. Whether it be Iraq, poverty, terrorism, the first response is to battle the enemy. In America's "war" on drugs the enemy is, statistically, ethnic and melonated people. America's poor people are locked up and punished far MORE for drug crimes but are not the main perpetrators. So why is there such a discrepancy? Why are the black and brown population being punished more for crimes they commit less of? What is going on with the RACIST war on drugs?
